i have been feeling a severe lack of motivation lately. i guess it feels like i have been stuck in the area of 142-145 for a few weeks and I just want to bust through to the 130’s and maybe ill feel better about myself.
lately i have also been struggling with whether i just want to do this as fast as possible (severe calorie restriction), or whether i want to take my time, be healthy and work slower but a lot more steadier. to be honest tho… i really just want the extra weight off as soon as i can get there but i am so scared i will just be “skinny fat” instead of looking actually thin.
i will do anything to get past 139 tho…. last summer my bf bought me some lipo 6 black. i think i still have some and i might use them to get through these few lbs. i dont really like how they make me feel but i think it might be worth a try if just for a week or so.
Finished jogging with my boyfriend! I am tired hot happy and feel very accomplished:)
totally worth it.
-running with 2 dogs keeps your going-
I’ve managed to only eat 200 calories so far today. I’m waiting for tonight when my family and I go to Red Robin for my graduation dinner. I’m at Red Robin’s website trying to build the healthiest good-tasting meal I can. Hahaha :)
4 strawberries with nutella: 100 calories
total: 550
outtake: 400
net: 150
i reallyy wanted to just give up and eat everything I saw….so glad i didn’t!
heya, i’m looking online for some good workout regimens, does anyone know of some good sites on which i can find some good exercise regimens and diet plans? also does anyone know of a good daily food intake tracker site?
I’m at 207.2 lbs, which means I’m 7.3 lbs away from officially hitting my first major goal. I cannot wait; I plan on throwing myself a kick-ass party when I hit it. I mean, Jesus, Panda Dynamo has lost 57.4 lbs so far. That is certainly nothing to sneeze at.
I realize I’ve been rather hesitant to ruffle any feathers on my Tumblr…yeah, that’s not gonna fly anymore. The whole point of this damn thing is to be able to rant, vent, rave, and (for me) process all that’s going on around me. I shouldn’t hide that I love yaoi and hentai, or that I love the gym more than sex, or that I’m a shameless flirt. And I most certainly shouldn’t hide being a nerd girl (Han shot first, btw).
I shouldn’t hide that I still have feelings for Abraham and Franklin (they’d be stupid not to know). But I’m moving on. It’s better than nothing. And I probably will find better.
I shouldn’t hide how inwardly comfortable I am with my sexuality, even though I outwardly react like Barney Fife.
Anything else? I’ll think on it. But I’m no longer ashamed to post anything about what I like or don’t like.
Rest day. I missed running, thoughhh! :D Excited for running tmwww :D :D :D
Food Breakfast: Porridge with chopped apple and soya milk Lunch: Mashed potatoes, veggie crisp bake, meat-free burger (just the burger no bun) Snacks: Oat crackers, raisins, fruit smoothie Dinner: Vegetable soup (carrot, celery, cabbage, broccoli, leek, noodles) total:1670 kcal
I just did the first level of Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred. I loved it! It was challenging enough that I felt like I was really getting a work out, but I was never at the point of “death”. I’m excited to see how intense the other 2 levels get, and to see how long it takes me to master all 3 of them.
Also, Jillian cracks me up because she’s kind of shaped like a boy. I don’t say that to be mean or to make fun of her. I LOVE Jillian Michaels! But she’s not overly curvy and she compensates for it by leaning to one side and sticking out her hip to show off her waist. It reminds me of the sort of things I do in a fitting room when I’m trying on clothes I’m not sure if I like. “If I stick my left hip out like this, raise my hands over my head, cock my head and squint these pants look really good on me”.
This is what motivation can do. The first image is from my freshman year of high school. By the time I graduated I weighed in at 255 lbs and I hated myself. I had wanted to lose weight for a very long time but just kept gaining. My home life wasn’t great so I made any excuse to go out…which usually meant eating with friends… my living situation changed just after high school. I no longer lived with my mom but with my boyfriend. After moving around a few times we ended up with a couple of room mates. It was Kyle and I and Nikki and Nick. Nikki was already super fit and she was going to Planet Fitness so I signed up and we started going together. We kept each other motivated and ran every day. I have lost 90 lbs.
Just did
50 sit-ups
20 leg-ups per leg
10 push-ups (something I need to work on)
Might get the treadmill out soon and do a 15 min run.
Start getting back in shape. I really fell off of the bandwagon for a while and seeing half naked girls around Jersey really doesn’t help my self esteem. I am ready. If anyone has any tips, I’d be in love with you forever. I always have the hardest time staying focused.
I usually stay at the same weight for a few weeks, then finally drop some off toward the end of the month. So I’m at the annoying “I’vebeenstuckatthisweightforever” stage now. So aggravating. Especially because my weight is always hovering 1-3lbs above what I actually weigh all the time. I guess it’s water weight from salt, but it’s still really discouraging.
Also it’s like, it doesn’t matter how much extra I work out, I still lose the same amount of weight. So why bother working out? I’ve been kicking my ass lately, working out in little bursts 2-3 times a day, yet I still lose the same amount of weight as when I don’t work out at all. Ughhhh.
I think I might try upping my calories. Maybe cause of my workouts, I’m not getting enough. Problem is I feel fine with my normal 1,200-1,400 calories so I’m going to have to eat when I’m not even hungry. Sigh, I’ll try anyway though.
If you have any recs, please send me, or reblog if you are fitness / weight loss and I WILL FOLLOW THE BEJEESUS OUT OF YOU. :D
Today I weighed in at 209.8. Two days ago I was 215 and struggling to get over this slump I’ve been in. I’m calling this a “fake weight” because it was only achieved from eating something bad and being horribly ill for over 24 hours straight. :P Part of me still takes great satisfaction in it, but we’ll see what I even out at on Tuesday LOL:P
I just began to cut them out of my diet. I’m suspecting that they may be the culprit behind the severe brain fog that I’ve been experiencing lately. D:
turns out i’m doing something right. i’ll post the actual weigh in on monday.
we need to overpower this whole “thinspo” tumblr fad. Let’s say “Enough is enough!” & start defining beauty our way, the REAL way. Health is what’s beautiful. Health is strength. Skinny isn’t power, it’s not achieving anything, unless your goal is to have everything good about you be hindered for a sickly outward appearance. Loving your body for what it is and how it’s made is what’s beautiful, THAT is what we call strength. NOT starvation.
Nearly 1 in 100 people will suffer from Schizophrenia in their life time, which although on the surface you may at first think that is not very many, that means that approximately 77, 7979.09 people in London alone right now, statistically speaking, have Schizophrenia. When put like this, the statistics are shocking.
Society seems to have a problem with the word schizophrenia often feeling fear. In a recent coursework presentation I did I found that when I said the words ‘mentally ill’ to people, the main disorder that repeatedly came up was schizophrenia which they associated with being ‘crazy’, ‘insane’ and ‘abnormal’. Words that none of us would wish to be labelled with.
I have no personal experience of schizophrenia however I see anyone with a mental illness as the same as someone without, its just that their experience of life and view of the world may be different. Who is to say there is something wrong with that?
In my presentation I included the video ‘schizo’ and this shows exactly how we can create the wrong idea of someone and how actually people with schizophrenia are just like the rest of us deep down.
People with schizophrenia can work, maintain relationships and have stable lives, it is just a matter of the individual learning to recognise their symptoms and when they need help. It is no different to any other illness albeit a mental disorder or a physical condition. It is all about management and about having people there. We all need someone to lean on.
So next time you hear the word ‘schizophrenia’, try not to allow yourself to think straight to the stereotypical views and images the media and world have planted, unconsciously inside of you, and remember, behind their illness lies someone just like you, with needs, with a personality, and with feelings.
That title was slightly misleading. I do wish I was a morning person, but that’s not the point. the point is…is that TODAY.
JUNE 10, 2011,
I am going to start Insanity. I loved P90X, but it’s too much of things I don’t need. I’d like to have a bunch of muscle, but I need cardio more than strength at this point. Soooo Insanity it is. And the food plan is surprisingly easy to keep up with, except for the fact that you have to eat FIVE times a day. Which is around three more than what I’m getting right now. (I’m lookin’ at YOU, job…)
Annnd, I’m going kickboxing for the first time today :) yay!
Background info
During normal reproduction, a single cell is formed by the penetration of the sperm in to the egg and then from that stage onwards, the single cells divides at an exponential rate and forms YOU. The case for twins is different, the fertilized egg divides first, forming two identical zygotes and the result is monozygotic twins.
Research/Findings
Many people assume that these twins should have the same genotype and phenotype and that the only thing that can change them is the environment. Recent findings have found out that it is not only the environment that causes variations in these twins.
Dr. O’Reilly, a psychiatrist at Lawsom Health Research Institute, used a pair of identical twins where one have schizophrenia and the other one doesn’t and identify all the genetic differences. Surprisingly, after examining a million markers, they found out that 12% of DNA can vary between identical twins.
my legs are 23.5 inches around and I’m gonna make small goals to achieve then when I reach that goal I will make a new one. so my first goal is 19 inches wish me luck

It’s very interesting. Along with describing the metabolic changes within an obese body, the narrator also describes the downfall of most diets. Because people tend to starve themselves on a diet (inadvertently or not), their bodies crave foods with a higher caloric value (ie milkshakes, burritos, etc) to feel satisfied. Once someone caves and eats these foods, the set point (the weight your body tends to gravitate toward) for their body gets higher in order to avoid starvation, and they’ll gain more weight because their body will be hungry until they reach this set point. So once they check the scale and notice they’ve gained, they’ll start a diet again. This starts the whole process over, creating a vicious cycle.
It’s so important to just eat a normal, healthy diet and get exercise. Fad diets don’t work, especially those that try to eliminate carbohydrates from your diet. Your body needs carbs, healthy fats & oils, and sugars to keep your metabolism going. The trick is portion control and making sure you get these things in healthy quantities. Unless you can find a diet that includes a healthy amount of food and calories for each day, you really should be wary of it.

Just finished my super crazy interval training. My hair is DRENCHED in sweat and I love it. Well.. maybe it is a little gross. Anyway, I’m enjoying my blueberry recovery smoothie and about to take on the day. I believe I’ve posted the recipe for this one before.
Coming later are some recipes for lunch and dinner.
Whenever I feel like binging (I get cravings a lot), I do all of these things. • Go brush your teeth. Chew gum. (Careful, make sure it’s sugar free and don’t have too much. It still has calories, but very low) Minty. Food would taste disgusting with that. • Chug a cup or 2 of water. Maybe you’re not hungry. Maybe you’re just dehydrated. • Consider if you want to binge because you’re actually hungry, or just emotionally hungry. If your stomach is rumbling, go have some carrots or something healthy & low cal! • Think about your goals, your thinspiration, all of the reasons you want to lose weight. Think of how binging will feel good for about 5 minutes, then make you feel awful the entire week. Think about how good it will feel if you resist. • Drink green tea! (no sugar) • Come on tumblr! Look at all the motivational quotes, success stories and pictures.
Do all or some of these next time you want to binge. :) Remember, it’s not easy, but it’ll definitely be worth it!
Also, anyone can message me if they’re feeling too tempted and I’ll motivate you to resist! Just ask for my msn, fb, skype etc. :)
Would anyone be interested?
I liked my outfit today.
Hmm.. This is hard because all I really try to think of is the good things that come of it.
I’m afraid that I’ll have a hard time maintaining and I’ll become fat again.
That was not a pretty time of my life.
Enough babble, here is my routine for the day, which is still somewhat challenging as I cannot move smoothly through every pose transition quite yet, but how awesome is it that I KNOW next week it’s going to be much easier? =D
AM Workout <— Did this in the morning, before I showered/ate
1) Morning Yoga for Flexibility - Beginners (7 min)
2) Yoga for Balance - Beginners (5 min)
3) Strength Building Yoga - Beginners (7 min)
4) Weight Loss Yoga - Beginners (10 min)
5) 4-Week Strength Building Yoga - Intermediate (7 min)
Total: 36 minutes. Goes from stretching out your limbs to building balance and strength. The latter part of the routine sequence makes me sweat + loosens up my body for the rest of the day.
PM Workout <—— Did this before I ate dinner :) MMM Got my stiffness from furiously writing/thinking for 5+ hours!!
1) Yoga for Flexibility - Beginners (5 min 30 seconds)
2) Yoga for Getting Out of Your Way - Intermediate (11 min)
3) Cardio Yoga Challenge 1 - Beginners (4 min)
4) Get Ripped Abs from Yoga - Beginners (4 min) <— note, you need a yoga block, and this stuff HURTS
5) Yoga for Balance - Beginners (5 min)
Total: 30 minutes. Stretches you out, works you through poses that require more flexibility, targets your abs and then winds down with some simple stretching/balancing. Did the cardio yoga video for the first time today O_O
I switch up my routines every day, depending on how my body is feeling and what areas I would like to improve on. If a new routine is hard, I will generally keep it in my rotation until it is comfortably doable. I like Tara because I can pick and chose exactly how much I want to do and how hard I want to work :) While this usually would make a lazy girl like me pick the easiest 3 routines and just repeat that every day, I’ve found that I’ve grown to search for a challenge after the easier stuff is done, and I actually LOOK FORWARD to starting new routines that look difficult so I can perfect them! Bravo!
And that is my first Yoga Routine + Progress Monday!! :) Am I cheesy to say “Namaste” at the end?
I’ll either be really glad or insanely pissed in a moment.
It sounds weird but i’m actually looking forward to the diet starting! One more weekend of indulgence and it’s here. The only thing I think i’ll struggle with is the no alcohol part. There’s just nothing nicer then coming home from work and relaxing with a beer or a glass (more like bottle) of wine.
I guess the ‘17 day diet’ sounds quite strict to most people but really it’s just over 2 weeks of eating strict with results which seem almost impossible. I’m confident about it though and i’m also confident I won’t just put the weight straight back on as there is a follow up plan and by the end of it I will be in a routine of exercising.
Current weight: 154 lbs (11 stone)
T-5 days till diet starts
My weight loss routine has just been so shit lately, made it to the gym twice within the past 2 weeks with fucking coursework. Still been eating under 500 calories a day, although the whole “fruit juice” thing isn’t working out to be that practical, so its mostly been cereal and such. I’ve almost completely cut out any carbonated drinks, which lets me eat something instead which I’ve found to be nice. Religiously going to the gym again now that I have the time. I’m not 10.4st, down from 10.7st. Still got a shit ton more to lose, but still glad I lost like 3 pounds through laziness!
i want to follow more blogs like this :)
http://yoplait.com/twoweektuneup
I just bought some Yoplait Light yogurt (I needed a break from Greek yogurt haha), and they are advertising a Two Week Tune Up where you can lose 5 pounds in two weeks. Considering it’s healthy to lose 2 pounds a week, I figure this isn’t too unhealthy.
What you do is replace two meals a day with a Yoplait Light yogurt, a serving of grains, and a serving of fruit. Then, you eat a dinner rich in lean protein. You can snack on as many vegetables as you would like throughout the day. You also have 3 additional servings of non-fat dairy, such as skim milk. Finally, you throw in 30-40 minutes of walking each day.
I’m gonna try it regardless to see if it works, but if anyone wants to do it with me so we can track progress together, let me know! :)
Reducing bad starch to increase weight loss.
Me after day 1 of level 3 of the shred. So sweaty. I want to do another kind of workout to round out an hour .. I wish my stationary bike came with a table so I could do homework at the same time. :)
hello all! I’m here to blog about my weight loss journey from start to finish. It is my hope that if i have an audience of people who support, or want to take the journey with me i’ll be more able to keep it up. I’ve tried loosing weight by just eating healthier and “exercising” (note the quotations? haha i’ll talk about that a little later). Recently i saw some hype about this diet called the “17-day diet.” I looked up some reviews online to see if this was just another “fad,” diet made up of starving yourself, cutting out whole food groups, or exercising yourself to death. What i saw was a book that gave you a plan, meal ideas, and four steps to change your lifestyle to loose weight, but also keep it off. I purchased the book online (you can find it here, as well as many bookstores and some other stores such as target or walmart) and read it in full yesterday. I’ll make a more detailed post about the plan later, but i highly suggest you buy the book because for each step (which consists of 17 days) there are actually 17 days worth of sample menus and a good amount of recipes for them. There’s also chapters on how to stay healthy with an unhealthy family, how to deal with pms cravings, what to eat while on vacation and traveling. There’s also a chapter for people who don’t work a regular 9 to 5 job, but instead work starting in the late afternoon, or overnight, and there’s sample menus and times for how to work around that as well.
For you all to get an idea where i’m coming from, i just want to give background and an outline of me and my lifestyles. To start with the basics, i am female (as my url would suggest) and 20 years old. I’m about 5 foot 4, and my current weight, as of yesterday is 205lbs. I go to school full time (now i’m on summer vacation), while working at a pharmacy 30 hours a week. My habits, which never thought were abnormal until i started writing this haha, are not good to say the least. My summer schedule was working in the evening (usually 3 to 10 or 4 to 10), coming home, usually eating dinner (after i had already had something at work), staying up until 3 or 4 in the morning, sleeping in until 1 or 2 in the afternoon, and then going to work, and repeating the same cycle. I lived off ramen noodles and premade food out of convenience. At work i would usually buy something there (prepacked “add water and microwave” foods) or go to the pizzeria next door. To add to this, i always found myself buying candy when it was slow or i was hungry. During the school year, I would get up early (after only getting about 4 or 5 hours a night), buy coffee and a breakfast sandwich on the go and commute 90 minutes to my college. Once there, i would usually have something out of the vending machine, cafeteria, or just wait it out until my classes were over and binge on my way to work. I had zero time to exercise and i used the excuse of “i don’t have a gym membership,” to justify why i never worked out. Also, i live at home still so its hard preparing healthy food beause the rest of my family doesn’t like it. My mom keeps trying to diet, by being really strict for a week or so, but then gives up.
So here i go. Startin’ this next chapter in my life. I am happy with my body, i have no complaints about it, but for my health i want to loose this extra weight. I hope to blog everyday about my meals, how closely i stayed on this, and if i slipped up and why.
I could write for hours, but now i need to get ready for work!
So I’ve been trying to lose the weight that I gained last year. I went from a size 4/5 to a 9/10.
I only weigh myself once a month to keep me from going insane, but I weighed myself the other day and I’ve lost 10 pounds. I’ve still got 30 to 35 more pounds to go, but I’m so happy that I’ve FINALLY started to lose weight.
I’m starting to ease my way into a vegan lifestyle. In the next few weeks I will be cutting out meat from my diet. I think the only problem I will really face is trying to replace my yogurt and butter. I know they make soy yogurt and butter, but so far I’ve yet to find it. >:U
I already drink almond and soy milk just because I prefer the taste to cows milk.
Cheese and chicken will probably be the things I miss the most at first but I’m ready to be healthier and thinner. Plus after reading up on what they do to the animals we consume I felt sick.
After I stopped drinking almost everyday (I’ve cut out that vice completely from my diet) the 10 pounds seemed to fall off.
I was doing yoga, a fitness ball workout and jogging but I hurt my foot and jogging is really uncomfortable now. Soo…I’ve started just doing more yoga and the fitness ball workouts.
It’s hard since I’m really trying hard this time to lose this extra weight. I always feel hungry. :/ But that will pass when my tummy gets used to eating less.
I feel good about this. :)
I can’t wait until my tummy looks like this again.
Sometimes I feel so trapped in my body. I’ve been doing so much to change and its killing me but I know its worth it. Sometimes I try everything to convince myself that I don’t need to go to the gym today, that skipping one day can’t hurt. I find the courage somewhere to tough it out and go anyway…my motivation? That burn I get in the pit of my stomach when my workout is done…I’ve grown to LOVE that burn.
The worst part is that I didn’t realize how EXPENSIVE healthy eating can be in comparison to just eating fast food all the time…
Its literally burning a hole in my pocket but, I’ve already lost 3lbs and I just started last week :)
Still have a long way to go but at least now i’m on the right path.

I’ve eaten okay, maybe a little unhealthily, thanks to the burger I couldn’t turn down for dinner. But I’ve just been lazy exercise-wise. I had a tiring day at work so I came home and had an hour’s nap before going for a very slow 3 mile run with my sister.
I totally just vegged out and watched a film earlier. And instead of doing floor exercises I’m sitting on tumblr feeling rather lazy.
But tomorrow is a fresh start and I have a 5k in the morning, so that should kickstart it.
Tomorrow I have the opportunity to prepare something for dinner just for myself. Any suggestions?
I’m in the black.
And I’ve even gained weight since then…
Doesn’t help that I used to be friends with incredibly thin people… haha

What To Eat To Lose Weight Fast...But Safe!:
http://wee.fm/5pcp Cool post - What To Eat To Lose Weight Fast…But Safe!
In the June issue of Allure (sorry male readership), this was a headline tucked in next to January Jones, seated with a bunch of other predictable women’s magazine headlines. Obviously women’s health and beauty mags have the insipid habit of recycling the same bullshit with a new annoyingly sensationalist title slapped on it. I almost skipped it entirely, expecting annoying tips like, “Take a bit of cake and then pretend to sneeze and spit it in a napkin. Then do 5 jumping jacks just to be sure you don’t gain weight from any of the crumbs!”
Joking aside, and being at a loss for content ideas (which is NEVER funny to a blogger), I read the article.
It didn’t totally suck….or it didn’t suck totally. While it still maintained some of the hyper obsession with being a bony sack of a human, it discussed how thin women are the ones who make healthy eating a routine, something that belongs to them, instead of being on a diet. ”The word diet connotes a limited-time affair, but thin women have made eating well a routine: It’s simply something they do day in and day out.”
Of course, I would have probably used different verbage (e.g. “healthy” instead of “skinny chicks), the number of annoying and/or borderline disordered-eating tips were minimal.
“The word diet connotes a limited-time affair, but thin women have made eating well a routine: It’s simply something they do day in and day out.” Well duh. The idea that there isn’t some “loss” period and then “maintenance” period is solid: it has to be the eating/exercising changes you make and live with that cause the weight loss and land you at the right weight for you that make having a “maintenance” mode irrelevant. You’re already there. Tracey Jackson (who wrote Confessions of a Shopaholic) was quoted on this: “Once I stopped going on diets, I not only lost 20 lbs, but I kept it off.”
OK, so what are some of the tips?
Thin women cook (yep. easier to control ingredients and working for your meal mans you appreciate it more, honestly.)
Portioning some of whatever you cook for lunch the next day in tupperware right away (keeps you from eating seconds but also makes sure you have a healthy lunch the next day).
Indulge within reason: You’re never going to have a period in your life when you’re not going to want the occasional cookie or bowl of pasta…you better build that in as part of your routine or you’re destined to fail or yo-yo.
Be prepared: this is more or less challenging depending on where and in what environment you work. When I was working in a midtown manhattan high rise, it would have been possible for me to get basically any type of food in 10 minutes or less. But I tried to keep better snacks around for when I got hungry to keep from deciding a 2:30pm cupcakes was a good idea. Turns out, carrots or almonds work just fine…
Probably the most important piece of advice, though, is that you should avoid eating processed foods and sugar substitutes as much as possible.
Diet soda is not a good look and, while I totally NEED to have peanut m&ms in my life once in a while, i feel best when I avoid processed food and sugar. So Beware of the 100-calorie pack. In a study cited in the article they noted that subjects who had raw fruit instead ate 20% fewer calories in their snacks—see, my kiwi and pineapple obsession isn’t a bad thing…even if I’m starting to turn green.
So while I wish the focus would be on how you can heave a balanced and healthy approach to food instead of “what skinny chicks are eating,” these are pretty valid points.
What do you guys think? How effective are these ideas in helping you maintain a healthy look and outlook/image?
PS. You can follow me on twitter here.
I’ve recently, or not so recently leaned up and slimmed down to 160, from 185(it was mostly muscle), and I currently stand at 5’8”. I am in love, love, love with my current physique. I shall continue to stay clear of the gym, and stick with my 2-4 mile run 5 days a week, and what ever I rack up on the mileage via riding the fixie. Additionally I’ve decided to toss pushups and sit ups into the mix, but not as routinely. I guess, the biggest struggle is figuring out a diet that works for me, since, for whatever reason my body is never hungry, ESPECIALLY after working out. This is weird? It’s tough to remember to eat, Argh!

Wouldn’t it be SO amazing if we could in reality have vitamins for love, happiness, health and luck?
This is me at my heaviest-around 170 lbs. This was Easter Sunday. I can’t stand to look at myself like this, but the fact that I’m now 10 lbs lighter and can definitely see a difference really helps. I never want to look like this again.
todays intake:
Melon: 30 cal
Orange juice: 50 cal
Wholemeal bread: 100 cal
Apple & cookie crumble baby food: 70 cal
apple: 70 cal
Pineapple: 50 cal
Bun: 150 cal
CHINESE. CHIPS & RICE & CURRY. Grr : 650 cal
Total: 1170.
Walked for 4 hours & skipped for 15 minutes. So minus 300 cal = 870. Still a shit day.
(FIRST OFF I do have to say my followers are probably getting sick of me talking about my BIRTHDAY DEADLINE… if not, then I appreciate the support lovelies!)
OKAY SO 24 DAYS TO GO!
I realize right now that it’s actually a little bit sad, how I’m counting down to my UGW more than I’m focusing on my actually TURNING NINE-FUCKING-TEEN!
My family is having actual rabbit for dinner… glad I’m working late & fasting so I for sure will NOT HAVE TO EAT RABBIT… poor little fluffy thing.
If I burn at least 1750 calories/day I can reach 90 by July 5th. Since that seems unlikely, (NOT IMPOSSIBLY - JUST IMPROBABLE) I’m just announcing right now that I would be heels-over-head-happy with a 95 or 92. ;)
I have to go to work now… wish me luck. Everytime I close at work, I end up grabbing a pretzel/cinnamon or salt & vinegar popcorn/SOFT SERVE ICECREAM… since we have all these new flavours like cotton candy/orange creamsicle/chocolate chip cookie dough/milkshake/pralines & cream/iced capp. OH DEAR LORD, I’M PRACTICALLY DROOLING JUST THINKING ABOUT IT…
Song for the day
Seriously I can’t think of a more beautiful song right now. Laura Marling - Goodbye England (Covered in snow)
Calorie Facts:
Actually learned a little from that article

Day 7: Do your parents know you’re trying to lose weight? Do they care?
My mom knows, because I’ve talked to her about it and told her I’d really like to lose weight for my sisters wedding. She tries to give me healthy tips and stuff and she’s supportive. But she’s one of those people who are skinny no matter what—she has really good portion control, doesn’t binge. My dad on the other hand probably has no idea, I don’t really talk to him about that stuff. But he’d be the one to notice if I lost a few pounds.
Very interesting article!
…I take back everything bad I ever said about him…
I wish one day I’ll feel confident enough to show my head and my body at the same time. For now I’m too ashamed.
? Vegan! ? under 250 calories!
This smoothie is filling enough to count as your whole breakfast, and reeks the rewards of almonds and oatmeal (see my previous recipes to learn about the benefits of oatmeal and almonds). Strawberries are also a wonderful antioxidant. The best part? It tastes like chocolate covered strawberries!
Ingredients
1 cup halved fresh strawberries 1 cup vanilla almond milk 1/4 cup dry oatmeal or quick oatmeal 1 tspn unsweetened cocoa powder
Blend all ingredients, serve in a tall glass, and enjoy!
I took a picture for this recipe this time, hope you guys like it! ?
June 13
Small Salad… which is necessary because I’ve been waiting all day long to eat at a friends birthday dinner. I’m irritated only slightly because she chose a breakfast place to eat at. Nearly impossible to find something healthy or that I won’t feel guilty about. I will just have to see how little of it I can eat without getting questioned
I took this this morning just after I got ready.
I decided it was time to stop being ashamed of who I am and do something I would have never done.
This is what I wore out today.
I’ve never tanned the top part of my arms before. This is new.
I feel so good with myself right now.
Today, the 13th of June 2011, I choose ?2Lose. This is my weight loss challenge.
But today I am so stressed and so hungry, that I am going to allow myself as much fruits and veggies my heart desires. Hopefully this will prevent me from eating any junk food and anything unhealthy in general!:)
So until June 27 the following will be my life.
5:15 wake up= early morning workout on yoga mat.
6:30- Breakfast
7:25-2:08- School….. =/ UNTIL NEXT WEEK THEN IT WILL BE EXCERSIZE
2:30- 4- Cardio
5-9- homework slot.
i will lose another 6 pounds before I go. I PROMISE YOU.
if I only get a water to drink at dinner, and then eat less than half of my meal (I have no idea what I’m even getting yet!!!!) I’ll hopefully keep it under +400
dieting sucks
Here is the first photo of me, my stomach to be exact, the area of weight that bugs me the most. Here it is a little bloated from the lovely Chinese I had for my Mum’s Birthday, it is the last big thing I am going to eat, I swear, for me it’s just little portions now.
717 calories burned walking 2.05 miles in 40:00 minutes.
Then I did the stationary bike for 10:03 burning 51 calories and ‘going’ 1.79 miles
My net calories are 28? Oh, honey. That’s crazy. I swam like a mad woman for almost 3 hours today, along with going to the gym. I need to do a bit less than I did today.
Apparently, I ate like a mad woman, too.
That’s 15.6 miles for you non-metric folk.
I’ve done 10.7km already and am doing around 8km on Sunday morning so on Wednesday and Thursday all I have to do is run 6.3km total, which is easy considering I can do 5km at a time now.
I’m also looking at doing a 10km fun run in August. That will be amazing!
So I’m back at home. +2lbs but that’s not too bad for a 10 day Vacation I guess.
Back to the grind tomorrow though.

Today I went on a taco bell date with my on/off again boyfriend. It was super delicious, and since I counted all three tacos and side of rice into my calories, I ate everything guilt free and felt like a fucking badass.
But before the date, when I saw my guy, he looked me up and down and proclaimed that I looked ‘a lot skinnier than usual, but in a good way.”
Words cannot even begin to describe how happy this made me. He seemed entranced by my flatter stomach, mesmerized by this new hotness I’ve gained. I love it.
