wahh I hate I’m not going to see him Sunday:/ buttt SUPER ready to see what the announcement is?

Well, to introduce myself, My name is Amber. I am 17 years old and I live in Georgia. I created this blog to document my ‘hair care journey’. Pretty much all my life i have haphazardly taken care of my hair. Just the simple stuff like washing frequently, kinda moisturizing it, blah blah blah.

I never really got it cut actually, i got it trimmed when i was 9, and again when i was 13.

My hair was long and natural until i was 13, then i got a relaxer. I guess once i got a relaxer, my hair kinda went bleh after that.

Being that i got it at the start of the summer, and its HOT in the summer in the south, i was sweating through this relaxer faster than… well just fast. And in my mind, i envisioned that once I got a perm(relaxer), my hair would just be straight and flawless all day errday, just like the lady on the box and commercial. BUT NO! my hair was frizzy and poofy.

In my home, we own a hotcomb ( the old fashioned one you heat on the stove), however i was unwiling to use that to straighten my hair due to some slightly traumatic childhood memories with it( NOT child abuse, ok). I did not own a flat iron until the next summer, so in order to try and straighten my hair before the 1st day of 8th grade, i used a curling iron. This was probably a big mistake because it was hella cheap and it sometimes ripped out some hairs.

Yup. I also didnt really wear a ‘proper’ scarf i guess. i mean i wore a cotton scarf that usually came off my head before morning, and sometimes, i just straight up didnt wear anything on my head at all, even when my mom reminded me. Oops.

Anyways, my point is, my hair is kinda, sorta, damaged in all types of ways, in all types of places, and i finally want my hair to be healthy again. Strong and Healthy.  So this lovely tumblr will be the documentation, and hopefully i can get some answers for my various from the tumblrairians on this site.

Yay Hair!

Everyone travels to the beach for summer vacation and bring along a friend or family vacation whatever, and I, living approximately 45 minutes away from the beach, have to go to georgia for the entire summer. Complete opposite direction of the beach, where I have 0 friends and get to babysit all the time.

Snowfall in Colorado, United States

Snow rain may have been common in the United States. However, this time the eastern state of Colorado, United States, hit by hail.

In fact, the size of ice falling from the Colorado sky was relatively large. Ice floes which fell on average almost the same as the big golf ball.

This event occurs after the Colorado hit by bad weather with strong winds for several hours on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 local time. The collapse of these ice floes loud noises when it hit a car, roof, and other objects. Completed storm, a rainbow appeared in the Colorado sky.

As per the predictions of weather observers, it immediately to normal conditions. The average temperature in the range of the Colorado back 26 degrees centigrade, the normal spring temperatures in the United States.

Everest Cleanup Starts Today

An expedition team will trace the path climbing Mount Everest for cleanup mission. Reportedly, they will bring down to the tons of garbage left on the highest mountain in the world.

Team of climbers led by Apa, a record breaking Sherpas climbing Everest 20 times, will begin to climb on this day, Wednesday, April 6, 2011. They are targeted to clean up Everest from the alleged waste weighing up to five tons.

Associated Press Reporting from the page, A total of four tonnes of rubbish will be cleared from the foot of the mountain down to the mid-point climb. While a ton of rest will be taken from near the summit of Everest.

For every kilogram of waste they bring down the government of Nepal to provide a fee of 100 rupees or about Rp12.000. No mention is how long the mission of this cleaning will be done, but what do sincerely confessed.

"I'm doing this for my country, my people and to Everest," said Apa.

Since Mount Everest was conquered by open to the public in 1953, thousands of people have climbed the mountain. They leave trash ascent, such as oxygen cylinders, tents, and other rubbish which may inhibit their travel.

As more and more waste, the government of Nepal implemented regulations for the climbers to bring along trash they bring in or will be fined. Nevertheless, the garbage is still seen climbing on the slopes of Everest.

Ang Tshering, cleaning Everest expedition organizer, said that this is the fourth year Everest clean-up efforts are made. What is chosen as leader of the expedition because he had climbed Everest every year since 1989.

Apa says that he first climbed Mount Everest when it was still covered in ice and snow. Now due to global warming, said apa, some places in the Everest looks clean from snow and basic rocks began to appear. This will jeopardize efforts to climb in the future.
