I love these green waters at the Schloss Charlottenburg.
Dinner at Marjellchen in Berlin. I ordered the Masurian Jugged Game of stag and wild-boar, with bacon and forest mushrooms, which came with a side of potato dumplings, stewed cabbage and cranberries. The owner is a gregarious woman and wonderfully hospitable, and overall, this restaurant has absolutely excellent service and incredibly delicious food.
I love the idea of them going together to the Venetian Carnevale!

Day 8- A magical place outdoors [44 Days of Witchery]
The Black Forest. Maybe it’s not a “legitimately” magical place but it is beyond beautiful. I was lucky enough to see some of it a few years ago while visiting family and it was amazing. A lot of fairy tales are said to be based in the Black Forest and you can actually find castles and the like here as well!
Two days ago a bunch of us decided to travel to a nearby lake, Lake Amersee. It was about an hour on the train, but IT WAS FREE. Its crazy how we can ride public transit to a place that would top any travel destination back in Ohio. We will definitely be going back… a Hofbräu Weißbier with this view… it’s a no-brainer.
