Swimming
Staying at this place with my crazy ass cousins and brother for a week. It’s gonna be insane, there’s a bar IN the pool. what. I’m probably gonna die next week, just letting you all know that I’ll at least be going out with a bang and in this fucking gorgeous place. Didn’t really get super excited for this vacation till Thursday night. It’s gonna be NUTS.

Motivation for the next 3 months…
Are the Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez PDA Campaigns Going Too Far? Is it Still Believable?
And we know that troubled celebrities frequently hire PR firms to help improve their image.
But have Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez gone too far in their efforts to portray themselves as normal teenage idols? Kissing, butt grabbing, straddling each other – is it too much?
Have their handlers gone too far?
Since the couples last vacation in Hawaii, Gomez has received numerous death threats on twitter and Facebook - and it’s not the first time either.
There are lots of reasons why Justin needs to be seen with a pretty Hollywood starlet – foremost to help boost his image as a ladies man, and try to dispel any rumors that he may be gay – not that there’s anything wrong with that.
There is even some evidence that Disney would benefit from their starlet Selena Gomez being seen with a popular male celebrity to show her fans she is a normal teenage girl.
But would Disney and Bieber’s team go as far as create certain photo opportunities of the two love birds engaged in very public displays of affection just to give the appearance that they are normal kids in love?
Yes.
During the 70’s and 80’s, Disney was known for showing their gay male actors in photos displaying them around sexy women and manly kinds of activities.
Menudo, a popular teen boy band of the 1970’s did the same thing.
Also, now openly gay actor Chad Allen also recounts how his management team was concerned that he needed to be photographed with girls in an attempt to show his manliness and normalcy.
So are Bieber and Gomez trying to hide something?
Probably not.
But the recent string of photos from Hawaii showing the two engaged in butt grabbing, straddling each other, and passionate kissing may be a little overkill.
The two were seen kissing on a pathway, the Jet Ski booth, on the Jet Ski, on the beach, in the water, parasailing, at dinner, in a car, at the mall, and a few other places.
Really? Is this believable or just a publicity stunt?
When you were 18 did you paw over your girlfriend this way in public? Does your son or daughter act like this when they are at the mall with their significant other?
You can also tell that these photos were planned and not taken by some misfit paparazzi sneaking around in the bushes.
Neither Bieber nor Gomez seems to acknowledge the cameras which tell us they know that they are there, and know they are being photographed. This last batch had over 75 high quality photos – no paparazzi gets a chance to snap that many before being asked to go away.
It just seems to be overkill. It seems the powers who are pulling the puppet strings behind the magic curtain have decided that Bieber will be seen in public kissing Selena – and nothing is off limits.
Perhaps this is what it takes in the music industry these days to stay on the top of your game, or maybe it really is teenage puppy love “coincidently” being caught on film.
Maybe this is some type of public relations transition program to get the two propelled out of their teen careers and catapulted into the next phase of stardom.
If it is, we hope it works for the both of them.

I guess after 150 concert shows you build up a little teenage angst. And if you’re worth $150 million you can grab ahold of whatever you like…
Teen pop stars, and new Hollywood Royal couple, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have taken some time off from their work schedules to relax in Maui Hawaii.
But among the relaxing was a lot of butt grabbing and kissing. Almost too much – as if it was all staged to show the two lovebirds have normal hormones.
The couple has been photographed repeatedly embraced in some very personal forms of public displays of affection.
In fact, Bieber has even been sporting his new Hebrew “Jesus” tattoo. This is the first time photog’s have caught a glimpse of his new tat under his left arm.

Plus, it has also been confirmed that Justin has a new 5 point star tattoo on his left elbow. Everyone thought it was a temporary tat or a henna sketch, but now it has been confirmed to be a real tattoo - and his father Jeremy has the same star on his left elbow!

We say go for it. Enjoy life while you’re young but be careful.

He kissed Selena Gomez on National television.
What else could Justin Bieber want these days?
How about a new tattoo?
We have all seen his Jonathan Living Seagull tattoo on his waist, but now Justin Bieber is sporting a new “tat” under his left arm.
Nobody knew about it until the teen heart throb was spotted vacationing in Hawaii with his girlfriend Selena Gomez.
What does it mean?
Rumor has it that the new tattoo is the Hebrew symbol for Jesus, but we have been unable to confirm if this is correct.
But knowing that the Biebs is a devout Christian we suspect it may be true. But it does seem like somewhat of a strange location for a Tattoo.
We just hope he knows when to stop and doesn’t turn into another Chris Brown or User.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Spotted in Hawaii – Photo
A shirtless Biebs seemed oblivious to the paparazzi cameras and the couple seemed to be enjoying themselves.
The teen love-birds are visiting the island of Maui for some much needed rest and relaxation after what can only be described as a grueling last six months.

Just last weekend Bieber scored 7 Billboard awards, He arrived alongside Gomez and generated lots of buzz with the kiss seen around the world when the two embraced after Justin’s big win.

Both singers have just completed their current leg of concert tours, and Bieber is expected to announce new concert dates for his Latin American fans soon.
But once their vacation is over it’s back to the grind.
Bieber is currently working on his third album due out later this year, and has signed on to star in a new basketball themed movie with pal Mark Wahlberg.

He also just finished filming a new music video with Chris Brown, and announced he is releasing a new women’s perfume called “Someday”.
Selena Gomez is also enjoying a little down time as she just wrapped the last episode of “Wizards of Waverley Place” for Disney.
She has also been promoting her music, and has been touring during her time away from the television studio.
She also just wrapped filming on the animated “The Muppets” were she lent her voice to a yet unknown character.
It has become clear that the two are officially dating after months of trying to hide their mutual affection, and last week’s kiss at the Billboard awards let the world know they are tired of keeping secrets.

Ireland
So Kelly and I went to Ireland for our honeymoon a few weeks ago. Throughout the past few years while at college I have had the amazing opportunity to travel and see different aspects of the world. For some unknown reason, however, I have had this uncanny reluctance to travel to Europe. Don't get me wrong, I find the history and culture of most European cultures fascinating as I do all cultures, but European cultures have always seemed boring to me.
Ireland has always been on Kelly's "bucket list" yes the now cliche bucket list (thank you Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson), ever since she was very young. Her mother went to Ireland and Kelly has always had this sense of Irish blood pulsating through her. So I thought I would surprise her. Even though Europe is low on my list of places to see before I die, I knew Ireland would be different. I just wanted an excuse to go somewhere.
The trip was
essentially flawless. I credit that to the many hours I slaved over the computer for about 4 months before arriving in Dublin. Our itinerary consisted of arriving in Dublin at 9 a.m. Monday morning. I did not sleep at all because I was too busy watching Transformers 2, Land of the Lost, and Mulan on the overnight airplane ride. Plus I get gitty with excitement on airplanes traveling to unknown areas of the world. We had to walk aimlessly, but with a mission around Dublin for about 4 hours before we were able to check in at our B
& B (bed and breakfast, however don't be deceived like we were. You have to pay an additional price for a breakfast). Kelly and I tried to everything we could for the first 2 days of being in Dublin. We walked everywhere. If it wasn't for our trusty travelers book by Fodors, we would have been lost before we got off the plane. Thanks to that book and our motivation to walk everywhere, we boldly, and with confidence say that we almost have that city memorized.After 2 days consisting of sight seeing at places such as Malahide Castle, Dublin Bay, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College (the Long Room and the Book of Kells are indescribable
), and several, several pubs, we took the cheapest way possible, a bus ride across Ireland to the mesmerizing Dingle Peninsula. The bus ride, although a few hours longer than any other means to get to Dingle was the cheapest, and greatest way to see the real Ireland. We made dozens of stops in small Irish towns and villages, and we were able to sit and ride with the locals who use the bus everyday. $150 for the two of us taking the 9 hour bus ride was way more justifiable than spending nearly $270 to take a 6 hour train ride. We needed to pinch the penny, or should I say Euro when we could because Europe has this way of taking all your money (more on that later).Dingle was an excellent oasis from the bustling city of Dublin. Dingle was our Grand Marais to Minneapolis. Our Manistee to Detroit. For those who do not understand the correlations, put simply, it was a very quaint, relaxing town on the Atlantic. We st
ayed at another B & B, and did a lot of relaxing which lacked in Dublin. There still was, however, a lot to see and we were not about to miss it. We stayed about 2 1/2 days and 3 nights in Dingle. It was very relaxing. October is Ireland's wettest month, and the entire 7 days we were in Ireland, it rained for only 1. Dingle was warm, sunny and mostly gorgeous. One day we we
nt on a 3 1/2 hour boat tour of the Great Blasket Islands on the Atlantic. We saw such things as dolphins, seals, goats, and 2,000 year old archaeological sites from the Celts. We saw where Gale Saiyers lived before she was evacuated from the Island during WWII. We saw amazing Irish landscape on the sea side--landscape that makes Ireland so popular.The Second day we decided to fulfill Kelly's dream (other than coming to Ireland) which was to go horseback riding in the Irish hills and
mountains. One of the bonuses to going to Ireland in October is that while you gamble with getting rained on the entire time (lady luck w
as on our side), the tourism industry is coming to a close. Meaning, everyone is headin' out of Dodge. Kelly and I were the only 2 customers to go horseback riding. So other than our guide, who spent the whole time yelling at her dog who was running along the entire country side chasing sheep that did not belong to him, it was just Kelly and me. Amazing countryside to say the least. Kelly has good taste and I thank her for dreaming to go to Ireland.After an astonishing 2 1/2 days and 3 nights in Dingle, we took the long bus ride back to Dublin, where we would close out the night and our honeymoon in Ireland. The bus ride was perfect, as well as our last evening in Dublin. While in Dublin, we got a slightly better room at the same B & B and we decided to make one final hurrah of sightseeing. We walked to the Dublin Castle. There was not much left of the enormous castle first established by Viking Longboats (Dublin and Limerick, the 2 largest cities in lower Ireland were actually established by Vikings, huh.), but there was some, and some is all we needed to get our enjoyment out of the building. That evening we TRIED to save more money (at this point our Euro was exhausted and we now relied on the Visa) so we went to McDonald's of all places. Even McDonald's was overpriced (more on that later)!
Needless to say this trip was amazing. Kelly and I love to explore by nature, and going to a new country and sitting in our hotel room for a week did not sound appealing. We did a lot, and we aren't going to lie and tell you there were not times we were stressed, because when you try to do a lot, including staying 2 days in one places, then taking a 9 hour bus ride across the country, then coming back all within in a week, there is naturally going to be stress. It was worth it however. We did what we could, and saw what we saw and there were no regrets. We had a blast in Ireland and have not closed the books on it yet. There is potential to go back (several, several years from now), but we just don't know yet. There is a lot more out there to see.
