Next year, the Olympics 2012 will be held in London, England. Welcoming the world's biggest sports party, England began to clean.
This event will present a unique presentation of sports, culture, business, and other British excellence. 2012 Olympics will also be a symbol of dynamism and diversity of the United Kingdom.
"One more year to the 2012 London Olympics. We promise to present the extraordinary event for athletes and visitors. We will also welcome the lovers of sports and youth around the world," said British Ambassador Martin Hatfull in Jakarta, Wednesday, July 27, 2011.
On occasion, Hatfull and President of Indonesian Olympic Committee, Rita Subowo open a countdown clock to the 2012 Olympics. This marks exactly one year to the third Olympics that was held in London. Previously, London hosted the Olympics in 1908 and 1948.
"The tradition and modern creativity Britain would have fused into a fantastic experience. We are ready to host a successful Olympic Games in London, a fantastic celebration of sport," said Harfull.
Meanwhile, Rita Subowo congratulated London who is preparing for the Olympics with a maximum. "London's Olympic Preparation Committee should be congratulated on their excellent preparations for the Olympics. Good luck for London, their commitment to the Olympics was incredible," said Rita Subowo.
When asked about the target Indonesian contingent at the 2012 Olympics, Rita said, "In Beijing last, there are 24 athletes from seven branches. For London, we'll lose more than 50 athletes and seven branches. We should maintain only one gold from badminton. We will also try to win a medal from the other branches, although not easy."

It was Paris’ turn to showcase what menswear will be available in the Spring/Summer seasons of 2011/2012 last weekend, and everything was a stunner…, well maybe not everything, like the horror that was the Givenchy and Kenzo collections, sigh. But here are some of my favourite looks from last weekend.

Another shade of brown, but it wasn’t Galliano who made this happen. It was the new guy at the label, Bill Gaytten. I’m anxious to see more collections from this newbie.
Lanvin
Alber Albez is seriously on track to turning Lanvin into a brand as big as can be. His success at Lanvin reminds me of how some of today’s biggest luxury brands Louis Vuitton, Hermes and Gucci through Marc Jabobs, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Tom Ford respectively where revived.

Vuitton’s menswear line has a new Creative Director in the form of Tim Jones who grew up in Kenya. This was an exceptional collection and can only do good for LVMH.

ok soo had a pretty cool weekend, was away with my family, was really nice to see my granny., helped her with some shopping, but oh my word my sister is so uptight all the time, she just tries to control everything, and is very critical, but i should not focus on negative things, .. ate nice foood, was really good to see fam,
ah so we played 30 seconds, (mum and sister had drank 2 bottles of wine before so that was pretty funny, also granny tried to get in on the action, she cant see or hear to good… was pretty funny..
then sat outside and watched solar eclipse, was pretty amazing, but was so cold.. so went in car.. listened to mothers old school music,
so this week just been trying to get assignments done, and of course slowly but surely each and all zim friends leaving where they studding at and going back home … i really dont think its hit me that i am not coming home yet, ??? i leave africa for the 1st time in my life in less than 7 days, this is unreal… instead of going home, (and partying really hard i think safe so say) i am going to explore, see new things, meet new people, chase my dreams, i am going to get inspired, i am going out there, leaving everything familiar and comfortable to me, i have only ever been on a train once, its so unreal, i am entering a new world, a new way of life, going to experience new culture, ..
a dream come true
i am just so grateful.. going to make the most of it ..
my trip plan goes as follows, ( i really dont like to plan, but i think this is good enough)
after last exam on 1st july 2011 i go to airport of CT, then dubai. arrive in London on 2nd july, going to meet up with a friend from zim, she will take me out we have a wild weekend, then as i need to recover i make my way to my aunt, i have no idea where she lives, haha ,.. then i stay with her.. family vibes for a week, then stay a week with my real cousin, who just moved into this fetch place with her boyfriend , then i fly from London to Barcelona (which is Spain BY THE WAY!) i never in my life though i would go there, then i go to Paris, France, oh Je t’aime!
then i make a mish to brussels, where i meet up with my SHAMWARI tom, then we mish back to dutchland, back to brendaaaaaaaa
i dont think i can process what is going on, i am just so excited . gonna be so care free, a gypsy, gonna walk and ride my bike everywhere,

I am finally going to upload some of the pictures from my trip to London and Paris. I’ve been so excited to share these photos with you guys and have them up on my blog so pardon my excitement.

Em Paris, no Marais, o restaurante Chez Janou nos oferece um pedaço da Fantástica Fábrica de Chocolate. Comida tipicamente provençal, o restaurante é uma delícia. E, pas cher. Os garçons são simpáticos (em Paris!), a decoração é perfeita, com cartazes originais de filmes do Tati, e a sobremesa.
Se a escolha é musse de chocolate, eles trazem uma caçarola inteira pra você se servir à vontade! É como a piscina da Fantástica Fábrica. Só que melhor, porque não há risco de se afogar. O chocolate é uma maravilha, derrete na boca. Como disse minha amiga Giulia Manera, italiana refinadíssima, essa musse é a materialização da ideia de chocolate. E a possibilidade de você se servir infinitamente é tão lúdica, remete à infância, à raspa da panela dos bolos de chocolate.
