Tavik designs make Sport Illustrated Swimsuit issu

Tavik designs make Sport Illustrated Swimsuit issuWhile thumbing through the pages of the new edition, Tavik Swimwear designer Nicole Hanriot was elated to see her designs gracing not only one but multiple pages of the issue. As an up and coming designer and a Sport Illustrated newcomer, Hanriot was honored to have been selected as one of the few, featured designers.

Tavik also nabbed one of the highly sought-after body paint two-page spreads, in which Alyssa Miller donned a neon pink sheer lace one-piece. This is something that as a swimwear designer you strive for. Not only does it create recognition within the swimwear community, it populates national brand awareness opening many doors for smaller, ground-level companies.

Taking into consideration past editions, current trends, and that sexy style Sport Illustrated is distinctly known for, Hanriot designed pieces that the editors could not pass up. A combination of Tavik Spring 2011 Collection styles, vivid colors, and lacy-feminine textiles made up the showing in Sports Illustrated, while top SI supermodels like Julie Henderson only added to the flirtatious display of swimwear.

atlanta bartlett

Atlanta Bartlett
is a geniuslicious interior styling Brit.
Do these spaces remind you of
others I frequently post?

Ahhhh, yes...so many dressed in white
English country houses I feature
have receive the Atlanta Bartlett treatment.

Her style is so relaxed, accessible,
and elegant.
Atlanta has written best-sellers
such as my favorite,
AT HOME WITH WHITE,
a book I will never tire of.

With husband, David Coote,
Atlanta runs a locations agency called
THE BEACH STUDIOS.
Her touch makes all those locations magical.

Let Them Eat Cake

What do you get when you combine: dressmaking couture, a stylish visionary who loves chic and vintage, and PURE youthful WHIMSY?

Let Them Eat Cake!

UK based Felicity Lynch is the designer of this delightful clothing, and I adore her palette and styling (romantic and reminiscent of Tim Walker). Take a look at Felicity's collections and how she weaves cheeky magic (ahem? see young Britney above) into heirloom quality kid-couture.

Lovely!

sarah richardson - part two

Honest. I try. I visit Sarah Richardson's website with the most earnest of intentions: collect a few favorite images from the portfolio and post some kind words. Except. There is so much beauty to be found! I end up saving THEM ALL. She's that good. And most of the incredible furniture you see is designed by this enterprising and Julia Roberts-cute design diva.
