This is definitely true. I need to eat about 5 times a day, otherwise I’m starving if I only eat 3 meals a day.
So tonight, I fed Phin a bit of peanut butter and he started choking and gasping for air. I broke several laws speeding us down to the local vet while Dom and his amazing person gave phinny CPR. They put him in an oxygen chamber and managed to unblock his airways with some cotton swabs. We’re home now, he’s breathing, and Dom and I are keeping a close eye on him. I’ve also never earned a beer more than I have just now.
Also, and incredible thank you to the people at the Birarcliff Animal Hospital for being the only place in Atlanta open this late, and still helping us during our emergency despite their exotic specialist not being in that day.

So this is the book I have been reading today. It’s called Comfortably Unaware by Dr. Richard A. Oppenlander. What this book is about is about making us aware of how the choices we make concerning what we eat, whether we believe or not, is contributing to the issue of Global Warming. Aside from making us aware on how our eating habits have an affect on global warming it is also giving an insight on a much healthier way of eating that is not only good for us but our environment. I highly recommend this book.

We did lots of abs (I planks! Twice! For a minute each!) a little bit of legs, wall sits (death) and some arms. We also went to a zumba class. Great cardio, but I won’t be going back…. haha.
It was a great first-day-back-to-the-gym-in-forever workout!
ROOT BEER FLOAT (90 calories)
(13 gms carbs, 11 grams protein, 24 vitamins and minerals)
Ingredients
1 MF Vanilla Shake
½ cup diet root beer soda
½ cup shaved ice
Directions:
Put all ingredients into blender.
Mix ingredients for 2-3 minutes or until smooth

I was going to run but by the end of the day, after all the walking and being sore from yesterday I decided I really need to kick back and wait till tomorrow. Tomorrow I am running at 5 AM and a weight work out to follow. Later in the day I have gymnastics and after that I’ll do another (light) weight work out. :]
