tolix chair obsession

Still.

Transfixed.

By these French lovelies.

Have you checked out Stephmodo?

These photos are from her charming "maisonette"

made more irresistible by the Tolix.

Potterybarn.

Wouldn't vintage Tolix be incredible?

These are offered by Antiquaire.

Have we died and gone to Swedish heaven?

More from Antiquaire.

How incredible would these be hung as art on the wall?

I suffer from chair envy.

One day my family counted all the chairs

(mostly antique) I had accumulated.

The number was something like 88!

Yet I feel no shame.

Some were rescued from the curb!

Perfectly good, honest, solid, chairs who just

need a good scrub, some white paint,

and an owner who adores them.

So fixated on modern ghost chairs lately,

I almost forgot how much I love these

classic, outdoorsy, durable, Tolix metal chairs

from France.

Now that it's spring, they're showing up

on every other page of my decor zines.
