I don’t remember exactly what this was in aid of, but I’m pretty sure it was to do with commemorating the Korean War. I do remember there were big boards where people could write messages, and loads of people had written messages about how they wished there was peace between the north and the south. Emotional reading.
The second time I’d been to City Hall, and the second time it was covered in police. They were literally lining either side of the street for about a mile - It was insane. I never found out why.
