sarah richardson: 3 GORGEOUS rooms

S A R A H
R I C H A R D S O N
recently experimented
with reverse engineering.
('Cause she's sassysmart
 like that.)

With brother Theo Richardson,
Sarah participated in a Sibling Revelry exhibit,
designing three rooms each inspired
by a product or color from
Theo's NY based product design team

Today is about how to have fun
with color, vintage flair,
and modern design.

Revelry moment no. 1:

A glorious
YELLOW BEDROOM.

We're seeing shiplap siding,
wainscoting, and paneling paneling paneling
everywhere in design these days,
and I LOVE it all.

It's so so Sarah!
And I'm thinkin Janet Hill
should paint this vignette!
(Or Anne or Aimless Olive or Nick!)

Coveting these trophy cups?
There are some on sale here.

SR never misses a moment
to inject "happy factor."

Revelry moment no. 2:

A work and play
BLUE DEN.

SR made this inspiration board even more
beautiful and special by lighting it.

Meet me in the polar bear room for a
blueberry-tini, k?

Already created some similar + pillows,
but this one inspires MORE!
Loving these chairs!

Revelry moment no. 3:

A little
RED DINING 'hood.

And by 'hood I mean a cheery,
charming, eclectic locale in which
to host the homies.

Do you like the mishmash of chairs?

What is more at home in a red dining room
than VIN ROUGE????

This vignette has a decidedly
SR meets Anthropologie
meets bistro magic, yes?

Look at the gorgeous baguettes
in that cart and
all the fabrics
on the comfy chair!

BRAVO SIBLINGS!
Way to revel.

Which room do you fancy?

and every cranny of the blogosphere.

But I'm so not over 'em yet!

Are you over these yet?

sarah richardson: design inc.

Design Inc.
was a fabulous TV show
featuring
and a team of designers.

The show launched after 'Room Service'
and before 'Sarah's House.'

How cheerful is this nursery?

Anybody else remember this
fantastic episode featuring a yurt?
Yes, a yurt.
Google it.

No kidding.
Inside the yurt!
