The ongoing protests in favor of halving college tuition at South Korean universities have taken a creative turn. One example: a parents’ group delivered 500 apples cut in half to college students attending a Friday night demonstration at Seoul’s Ch’onggye Plaza. The gesture was meant to symbolize an apology for high tuition rates. Apple. Apology. Get it?
