The Democratic congressman from Oregon had been under investigation for possibly trying to bump nasty with a young woman. We believe she may have been the daughter of a campaign donor. He says he will leave once the debt ceiling issue is resolved-possibly as early as 2023. As we sit back, we once again can only shake our heads. Guys like Wu and Wiener are elected folk who stroke their own egos {and seemingly do a lot of other stroking, as well} about being so much better than the rest of us little people, and then every other week a congressional seat has to be bleached and refilled. And why is it they are always the ugly, weird ones?? Wu vows that he will redeem himself by qualifying for American Idol, and singing a rousing version of 'She Bangs,' or failing that to 'give his best with no regret.'
