Today I have a few shots from Casa Mama to share.
This is my folks' charming Arizona home where I
just spent a wonderful sunny retreatish week.
hint: the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
It looks very traditionally southwest on the outside,
but inside is a breezy Swedish chic.
Also, my mom loves Pottery Barn
so you may sense a PB vibe.
book cases - Ikea, chairs - Pottery Barn, lace curtains - made in Belgium
Everywhere you turn: hello, lovely!
A loft on the 2nd floor where
the grandkids love to play.
The front patio where I spent time every morning.
Trees and flowers in bloom lifted my spirits.
cabinetry and chairs - Thomasville
They have beautiful things including
a collection of art by Nancy Noel.
damask sofa - Ethan Allen
I snagged these silvery magic drapes for a song for
myself and stored them before they found a home here!
drapes - Pottery Barn
Huge harvest table and bench are new from...
big surprise, Pottery Barn!
The chairs are awesome vintage finds they then painted.
The addition of glass makes the table dreamy to live with.
The search is on for a perfect something
for the center of the table.
the backyard is no maintenance!
the made in Sweden vintage chandelier is
INCREDIBLY gorgeous with its crystal prisms
the kitchen has maple, granite, and stainless finishes
this very old shaving mug (a treasure for my mom) belonged to my grandfather
a reading nook in the living room
a girly guestroom
My parents are more tidy than Martha.
Buh leeeeeeed dat.
the master bedroom is dreamy in aqua, gold, and cream
mom's dresser
the balcony outside master bedroom
It's not my Bella Luna.
It's GRACIE...the sweetest accessory
in the whole casa.
these fuschia panels are gorgeous in person
Thanks for taking a peek at the
very happy non-traditionally southwest home
of my parents
who are alternative themselves...
married almost 50 years!
Does your home's exterior match the interior?
