TIME TO REASON WITH 2011 HURRICANE SEASON.

We had to make a separate post because tropical storm, Don, even exceeded our satirical pokes at him by underachieving as a storm. We saw interviews where drought ravaged citizens near Corpus Christie were interviewed on television during their first waking moments the day of the storm. They were surprised to hear that the storm they anticipated, almost sort of hoped for, passed by barely wetting their driveways. We hope to find the actual clip we saw, but one guy, who we believe may have been at Happy Hour the night before, was caught bright and early with a street correspondent asking him about the storm, the man replying that "the heavy stuff should come down any time now", and the reporter telling him the storm had already blown itself out inland hour ago. We provide basic educational information regarding prospects for what could become an active hurricane season-we believe a lovely named, Emily, is our next storm of focus. Emily-that leaves us with such a better visual image than 'Don.' This separate posting also allows us room to play a well-timed Jimmy Buffett song. Enjoy, you lovable Parrot Heads-Jimmy hasn't been known to play this one live very much!!
