Former Mexican president, Vicente Fox, even made the suggestion during a CNN interview. His concerns were possibly more for taking the profit out of the increased, violent Mexican drug cartels, but why do we always overlook the obvious?? If people don't want extra income/property tax tax increases, let the feds get a taste of the legal marijuana trade. The government gets untold billions of extra revenue, money/jail cells are saved on trials and incarcerations of people not indulged in violent crime and maybe America can just appear a bit 'enlightened' once again. We are just tired of living in a culture of "just say no." If our current politicians are a model of sobriety and proper functioning, we would just as soon take our chances with Cheech and Chong.
