After going up 1-nil. the USA women gave up a quick one, and appeared to have lost their legs just into the second half. Then another unbelievable set-piece corner kick goal header from Abby Wambach. The corner was again right on her forehead as she did like an old age tight end and took her right for the goal post. She hit the back of the net, and her momentum drove her right into the post. The deal was sealed moments later when young forward talent, Alex Morgan {pictured above}, got behind 4 defending French players and went one on one with the keeper, finishing with a soft chip-shot into the back of the net. We believe Sweden is still leading which means a possible USA-Sweden rematch for the grail. Sweden is the only team to beat the USA in the entire tournament.
