Tony Bennett has voiced his concern and support for Amy Winehouse. The 84-year-old, who worked with Winehouse on a track for his latest album 'Duets II', is "praying" for the troubled singer, especially in light of her recent Serbian display.

In an interview with The Guardian to announce the new album, which also features collaborations with Queen Latifah, Lady Gaga and Mariah Carey, Bennett said: "Of all the contemporary artists I know, she has the most natural jazz voice, but I'm worried about her and I'm praying for her. She'd help everyone by sobering up and cleaning up her spirituality."

Recalling working with Winehouse, Bennett said: "She was just very apprehensive as to what was going to happen. Everybody said, 'I don't know how you're going to handle her,' but I felt completely different, she really loves to perform.

"What turned the key at the record date, I said to Amy, 'You know you sound a little like, one of the great jazz singers, Dinah Washington.' The minute she heard that her eyes popped wide open ... From that moment on the record came out just beautiful."
