We are aware of the poisonous political/social atmosphere that has seized the Eastern Shore town of Salisbury. That is why we left it. It seems that some people are just going too far right now. A micro-scale of the political poison that has hit the entire nation, the small, failing town of Salisbury seems to have gone even more off the hinge overnight. Two of the five city council members, and two of a block-of-three that either draw heightened scorn/praise depending upon with whom you speak, had bricks thrown through their vehicles/home windows late last night. Councilpersons Debbie Campbell and Tim Spies were the victims of some really scary, just not necessary, hate and property destruction. We are not aware of any other reports of destruction from non-elected civilians. The councilpersons live roughly in the same neighborhood in a somewhat small town.
