Robbie Williams paid tribute to three close friends who died within a month of each other at Take That's mega-gig at Wembley Stadium on Monday night (4 July). The singer was moved to mention his departed friends as he prepared to sing his solo smash hit, 'Angels'.

The Mirror reports that Williams told the sold-out crowd: "Monday is the s-------- night of the week. It's another week, it's work again ... and Jeremy Kyle is probably going to be s--- again."

He continued: "The last few weeks have been tough for me. Three people have passed away.
If you need to say a prayer, sing this song with me .... "

An insider explained Williams' dedication saying: "Rob lost a work colleague last month, and two other pals. It's been tough. Performing 'Angels' has been incredibly moving for him."

Take That were also reported to have suffered a Spinal Tap moment during the gig. The band had to ditch using the use of their giant robot when the contraption developed technical problems thus preventing them climbing into its giant hands.
