VANCOUVER CANUCKS RETAIN JOHN ADAMS AFTER GAME 3 "BOSTON MASSACRE."

At most, there are only 4 games left in the NHL season. After Vancouver took the first two of the best of seven Stanley Cup final series, it appeared it may be even fewer. Then just a few minutes into Game 3, Bruins right-winger, Nathan Horton, was simply obliterated by Vancouver defense man, Aaron Rome. The brutal hit sent Horton to Massachusetts General Hospital and Rome to the sin-bin to 'feel shame' {he will likely be suspended}.

What followed was a Boston goal barrage leading to an 8-1 beating, that may have turned the emotional tide of the series. The Bruins, our second favorite team, had been feeble on offense until the venom spewed out after the Horton/Rome train wreck. Game 4 is tomorrow night in Beantown at 8:00 p.m., and we expect the crowd will have a long memory, although Horton {his season is over} may still believe he is David Allan Coe for several weeks. If Vancouver wins, they can finish Boston on home ice in Game 5-if Boston wins it is down to a best two-out-of-three for the Holy Grail of hockey. Hey, what else are you going to do-watch the NBA finals or the Orioles/Nationals??
