An unbelievably large crowd of 80K or so is expected at the gig in just a couple hours now. Hey, who can blame them in this age of lame music. We are on a tight budget and offered to put out to a female who would give us a free ticket, but didn't get any takers-this isn't illegal; the ticket would be a gift-we would just put out because we like to. Shame on you gals, you don't know what you are missing. But any-hoo, if you aren't already at the gig by now, expect trouble getting to the M & T Stadium lots. If you took our seminar on the importance of 'sunrise tailgating' prior to events like this, you are probably feeling pretty nice. Otherwise, you are a likely a cooter's hair away from an aneurysm as you are likely stuck in what is the normal daily rush hour cluster-fuck traffic, plus extra concert traffic plus it is a hot day where everyone is driving like a psychotic, socio-tard.It should be a good show, although we would have preferred a set-list from the earlier years. We will provide a couple clips of songs which you can likely expect. "One" is among the best of the set-list regulars. We don't expect that you will see "Seconds" or "11:00 O'Clock Tick Tock," but you will likely see one of the better shows of your life. We say better because we have been to a lot of Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd and Jimmy Buffet shows-so our bar is set pretty high. Have fun, and if one of you ladies has a free ticket AND a helicopter...well, send us a comment and we will be waiting on the roof. BTW, the gig goes rain or shine, but with the unstable air thunderstorms could be a factor, and we are seeing some stuff on Doppler heading right for MD/DC-just take a knee 20 yards from a tall guy....lightning always comes for the tall guys first.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNOLuOnJwQo&feature=related {This "One" usually makes every set-list, and is a tremendously beautiful song-listen to the reflective, poignant lyrics about how love/relationship is challenged. Even we could play the chords when we were still practicing. Warren Haynes of Allman brothers Band/Government Mule fame also does a tremendous version of this "One." 'We get to carry each other..carry each other'-it will be worth the price of admission. This is our form of church.}
