Historic AC/DC concert in Paris
The last filmed concert of AC/DC's flamboyant frontman Bon Scott comes to DVD and Blu-ray for the first time on AC/DC: Let There Be Rock (2011, Warner Bros., not rated, $22; Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, $45). It commemorates the 30th anniversary of the film's theatrical release. Scott was found dead in London on Feb. 19, 1980, and the coroner ruled his death acute alcohol poisoning. The Australian rock band's legendary 1979 Paris concert includes 13 song performances, among them Whole Lotta Rosie, High Voltage, Highway to Hell and Let There Be Rock. The film contains interviews with band members, including the last ones with Scott. A special collector's edition ($40) comes in a steel case with keepsake items, features on Scott and guitarist Angus Young, and interviews with journalists and fellow rockers about the band. ?
