STANLEY CUP FINALS BEGIN RIGHT NOW.

Well, maybe a little ice hockey will make you feel cooler. To be honest, we would give our left nut to be living in either Vancouver or Boston instead of the steaming pile of dog shit state we have spent our lives in {and this doesn't just involve it's sports teams-it involves it's bogus laws, too many fucking ignorant/arrogant politicians, crippling taxes, crumbling infrastucture and just general rudeness of the majority of the population}. Many people are picking Vancouver, who we have no problem with, but our heart is with Beantown. Tim Thomas of Boston will determine the winner of this series. We think it will be Boston in 6 games..if seven are necessary, the game will be in Vancouver which would make them the favorite if it has to go the distance. At least we also get to hear "O' Canada" before each game-a great anthem...a wonderful moment right now as the singer has stopped after the first verse, and let the crowd sing the second by itself. If you don't like our opinions, do something abewt it!!

BTW-We are seeing reports that severe tornadoes have struck the Springfield, Mass. area. What in the world?? Massachusetts isn't exactly tornado alley. We hope that though devastating, that no lives have been lost. We have blood relatives of ourselves, and our children, in that fine state... Regrettably, we are hearing of fatalities-we hesitate to even mention a number, which may still grow, so early after the tragedy.

END 1st: No score. Boston squandered a 4 minute power play, VC goalie Luongo was fantastic. Tim Thomas has been strong as well. Zdeno Chara/Chewbacca has been fun to watch as usual, and is the one guy on the ice we would never tangle with. Unless he tried to T-Bone us with an F-850 pick-up...

END 2ND: No score..getting very chippy. Damn we wish we were in this game tonight.

FINAL: Nothing but heartbreak for Boston-18 seconds from OT, a loose puck in The Boston zone was scooped by a Vancouver forward who slid the puck in front of the crease for the finisher. What a game by the both goalies-over 70 total shots were placed on goal before the game winner...VC wins game 1 by a score of 1-nil...18 little seconds separated Boston from OT. What a game 1. We can hear the bubbling of Vancouver 'tobacco' water pipes from over 2,ooo miles away.
