The "big man who joined the band" is reportedly in stable condition in Florida after a severe stroke that left him paralyzed on his left side. Reports vary regarding how responsive he is, but at 69 any stroke is a bad stroke. A foundation piece of Bruce Springsteen's E Street band, the saxophonist, and oldest member of the band would always be introduced last to a barrage of applause. We have seen several Springsteen shows, and the guy is a beast on the saxo-mo-phone. We are sure New Jersey, an entire nation and any international regions that aren't merely bloody savages send tearful regards for his recovery, or the best that can be obtained.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6nM3ZKD6yg {"Born To Run" from the swamps of Jersey in 1993....the way it should sound.}
