Kate Middleton's Wedding Gown to Go on Display

The most famous wedding dress of the decade will be available for public viewing in the next months. Kate Middleton's memorable wedding gown, worn last month when she married Prince William, will be on display when Buckingham Palace opens for tours from July 23 to Oct. 3, PEOPLE reports.

And it's not just the dress, designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen, that will be showcased. The Cartier "Halo" tiara, earrings, veil and satin and lace shoes will also be on view. The stunning Rolls-Royce Phantom VI and 1902 State Landau coach that carried Kate to and from Westminster Abbey will be on display at the Royal Mews.

The royal couple's wedding cake will also be on display in the palace's state dining room. "Other cakes were made to serve to guests, but the one that was cut by the royal couple is the one that will be on display," a source told PEOPLE. "There is a cut into it where the Duke and Duchess cut into it with a sword."

As for the whole display, a spokesman for the couple told PEOPLE, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to give members of the public the opportunity to see, close-up, the skilled British craftsmanship that went into various elements of the wedding."

Prices for the tour run about $28.70 for adults and $16.50 for children.
