Top ranked Seagulls vs. number 5 ranked, and defending champion, Jumbos. A rematch from last year's title game, where the Gulls lost a bitter 9-6 game. We see a similar tough, tight game, but think the Gulls have the talent and motivation, but wont do well if they have to come from behind. Either way, it is an outstanding night for a lacrosse game. Maryland squares up against Virginia tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 p.m. for the Division I cheese. Game time is in about ten minutes at M & T Bank stadium. We believe we may have access to a live, on-line streaming feed of the game in a few moments.http://www.ncaa.com/sites/default/files/external/liveplayer/champplayer/player.html?gameId=2011_MLA-3_101&cvp_win_chr_w=10&cvp_win_chr_h=90 {Enjoy for free}
THREE VERY QUICK EARLY GOALS BY SU IN THE FIRST 5 MINUTES-THEY LOOK SHARP EARLY-COULD BE A BLOODBATH. SU ATTACK IS JUST SNIPING RIGHT NOW-TUFTS DEFENSE LOOKS SLIGHTLY STONED. IF THIS WAS A BOXING MATCH, THE REF WOULD STOP IT..6-1 SU IN THE FIRST-TUFTS DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE SAME LEAGUE THIS YEAR. SHOTS ON GOAL ARE LIKE 16-3. SU JUNIOR MIDFIELDER, SAM BRADMAN, HAS A HAT-TRICK ALREADY IN THE FIRST. FROM WHAT WE ARE SEEING SU IS CLEARLY THE BETTER TEAM, BUT TUFTS DEFENSE ARE PLAYING LIKE A BUNCH OF MARIES {SOFT IF YOU MUST BE POLITICALLY CORRECT}. YOU CAN'T ALLOW SU TO JUST CARVE YOU LIKE THAT IN FRONT OF YOUR OWN CAGE WITHOUT PUTTING SOMEONE, OR TWO, ON THEIR ASS. 9-3 AT HALFTIME-IT WAS 7-4, TUFTS, AT HALFTIME DURING LAST YEAR'S GAME. BRADMAN NOW HAS A DOUBLE-HAT TRICK, AND NOBODY HAS THE BALLS ON TUFTS TO UN-ASS HIM. GO AHEAD AND POP THE CHAMPAGNE AT 13-5-TUFTS SHOULD HAVE TO WALK HOME AFTER THAT PATHETIC, UNMOTIVATED, DISPLAY. CONGRATULATIONS SU!! 19-7 final score..and it wasn't even as close as the score suggests-we don't think Tufts could have beat the Maryland DI women today!!
