We try not to mock such a sensitive issue as suicide-it is serious and hit way to close to home/work, but in all fairness at least the guy made it to 73, had a pretty charmed life and, if it makes this piece more tolerable, was facing 11 counts of alleged rape/sexual abuse according to NY police. In all fairness, this was a song as sappy-ish painful as what Celine Dion would later torture us with every Saturday night for about a decade. And at least the guy didn't botch it and end up a veggie patty like Jeff Conaway-he also applied a plastic bag over his head before hanging himself with a towel as a 'redundant' measure. BTW-they now say Conaway didn;t intentionally overdose, but was to high to notice he was near death from pneumonia.
