Imogen Thomas has claimed that while she always knew her premiership footballer boyfriend was married, she was blinded by love and the thought that he was the ?perfect man? for her.
The former Big brother star hit the headlines last month, when she was outed as having been conducting a six month affair with the famous sportsman, however until recently his name was not revealed due to a super injunction obtained from London?s High Court.
Speaking to Heat magazine, Imogen confessed that she always knew her boyfriend had a wife saying:
Yes I did [know that] but I never thought that far ahead.
All I knew was that I was totally in love with this man??.. I was really in love with this man, he was perfect for me!
Imogen also detailed some of the threats and warning she has received, since her story exploded all over the press. She continued:
The whole process of it?.I?ve had death threats, they?ve said they?re going to stab my mum in the head, cut my face open and feed it to my little nephew which is really disturbing?..and also shoot him in the head and I?d have to go and watch him at his funeral.
I?m not perfect, I?ve had an affair with a married man but they way people are treating me, it?s as if I?ve murdered someone!
I think I?m seen as a home wrecker and a slut and a slag.
