If you haven't heard the back story, a Connecticut High School senior made a bid to ask out a girl he had a crush on, and invited her to the prom. In a non-traditional, "Romeo and Juliet" panache display, he and some friends cut out cardboard letters and glued the invitation request to the side of the school {see actual message above}. Well, the student got a "yes" from the apple of his eye, but then useless school administrators told him that because of his behavior-he was banned from the dance. Two Connecticut lawmakers and untold television/radio/blog personalities have come to support the youth. What is the message that public school "suits" are trying to send?? You would think they would prefer to have the kids on premises, under supervision for a dance, than doing the 'Tube Snake Boogie" in a rural field with a case of beer. Morons are as morons does. If these bogus rules were in effect when we were in high school {see Breakfast Club principal at top}, we would have never made it past 11th grade. Fight the power and get your girl, Tate!!
