WEATHER NOT LOOKING GOOD FOR PLANNED SHUTTLE LAUNCH TODAY.{LAUNCH IS NOW OFFICIALLY POSTPONED}.

Very cloudy, and some rather stiff winds. There are a lot of people on site for the historic launch, including many dignitaries and such, but we would hope that horrible lessons learned in the past would dictate that if conditions aren't 100% {especially with a craft with so many miles on the tires, uh, we mean heat tiles}, that the launch will be postponed and 500,000 people can merely enjoy Happy Hour, or if you are in that part of Florida, "The Early Bird" dinner {see Jack Klompus at top}. We would say the chances of an on-time launch are a coin toss at best at this point.

BREAKING JUST NOW: TODAY'S LAUNCH IS POSTPONED AT LEAST 48 HOURS DUE TO WEATHER, AND SOME POWER GENERATOR OVER-HEATING ISSUES.
