A pall of gloom descended on the social hub in Lagos when one of it's foremost members,Adegboyega Ojora passed away last Sunday.Fondly remembered as Gbegi by family and friends,he is the eldest child of business magnate Otunba Adekunle Ojora and his wife Ojuolape.Gbegi,who only turned 50 last august is believed to have suffered liver related ailment at First Consultant hospital in Lagos.This explains the reason why he had a mini celebration overseas with family and friends as opposed to the grand soirée many expected when he turned 50 just like when his mum turned 70.
Last Thursday family and friends came together to honour his memory.it was an assemblage of the creme of the society,as his funeral proceedings kicked off with service of songs at Harbour Point,Victoria Island and closely followed by funeral service on Friday at Cathederal Church of Christ,Lagos.where hundreds of elite came to bid him their final goodbye after which his remains were interred.
Married to the beautiful Solveig,the daughter of former Special adviser to Lagos state governor on mineral resources Ahmed Onipede who was brutally murdered at his Badagry residence just over a year ago.
