This is an angle that from the beginning I have been on board with. I think this is a perfect time to either Face turn Drew or Heel turn Kelly Kelly. The latter being my personal favorite.
With the exception of a few heel Divas, most of them have (basically) the same lame ass gimmick, with very minor tweaks. With the potential heel turn of Kelly Kelly this is a good time to stray away from the "I'm better looking than you" heel Diva. With all Kelly has been through with Edge and Vicki and what not this is a perfect time to bring out a Savage bitch that will fuck everyone up. The Heel of heels. The diva no one likes. Granted she isn't a good in ring competitor, and her mic skills aren't as good as Laycool's, she needs neither to swing some chairs on a bitch..
Now on to Drew, Drew is a wrestler (like this angle) I've been a a fan of since day one. He is a competent in ring competitor, and his mic skills are (in my opinion) are among the best of the heels in the WWE. To up his status they need to either: have him more active in the main event picture, or put the IC Title back on him, and have him defined it very often. Giving him main event status automatically (again my opinion) would give him more heat. But just putting the IC Title on him would be a work in progress, which he is very capable of doing.
And with these two omega heel entities they could run rampant all over the WWE.
JACK SWAGGER
When Jack first hit the scene of ECW I thought he was going to be something special. After his successful run on ECW as a Champ and pretty much owning the brand for awhile he went to Raw, it was time I thought. Time for him to get the US Title and own the mid card for awhile. Next thing I know is he's on SmackDown winning the World Heavy Weight Championship. Initial thought was "AWESOME!!" Second thought was "wait already?" He had a eehhh decent run as World Champ, nothing to call home about but I was never bored. He loses the title at Fatal Four Way and I thought "meh it was going to happen sometime, he'll get his rematch at the next PPV and get it back." Raw came and went, PPV came and went, and he never got his rematch..
Then one day recently I turned on Superstars and who do I see? Jack Swagger, I literally made the face in that picture. No fire works. Nothing. Took me by surprise.
Another thing is I thought he had an angle going with Kofi for the IC Title? Swagger with the IC? I wouldn't hate the idea. Well I turn on Elimination Chamber last night and there's Kofi wrestling Del Rio? Del Rio is already over, he has his match at Mania, why is he so involved with Kofi? Regardless Swagger is in a hard place right now, probably got pushed too hard to fast, and he's fizzling away, which makes me sad.
THE CORRE AND NEXUSThis whole thing is giving me gas. They are billing Nexus and Corre as dominate forces in the WWE, but what do they have to show for it? Collectively three tag team championships and a fucking slammy. When Nexus debuted last summer, I was excited. Finally someone is going to take Cena out. Then one thing led to another Daniel Bryan got fired, then a bunch of people got injured and the wind was taken out of the sail. Then Cena joins Nexus and I think, YES finally a heel turn. Which never happened. Then Wade is Outed and I thought whatever, I prefer Punk anyways. (not hating on Wade, I'm a fan) Then Justin and Heath left and I thought, here we go again. And you know what I was right. This whole thing is a fucking marry-go-round of pointlessness. They (Both) are hardly in title pictures. I think to myself what's a force without proof? A pile of bullshit. Get David Otunga in the US Title picture, put Big Zeke in the IC chase. Give Punk and Wade a fucking REAL chance for the belts. God damn. Instead of just wasting my and your time, doing the same shit OVER AND OVER again. And by the way, they're two months old, they're not NEW, so stop fucking calling them the NEW Nexus. That only works for The Avengers.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that WWE is misusing Daniel Bryan. When was the last time he defined the belt? The US Title has been plagued for the past year or so. It's lost every bit of prestige that was on it. I place sole blame on WWE putting the belt on Bret Hart. Since they took it of The Miz the first time it hasn't caught a break. Going from Bret Hart who didn't need or deserve it, to R-Truth who is not a good talent, using stupid ass finishers and rapping down to the ring. Back to The Miz who around this time, was out growing the training wheels and was ready for the big boy belt. To Daniel Bryan who is no doubt the best wrestler in the WWE, but for some reason, no one seems to want it anymore. I see Ted Dibiase, I see Morrison (who should be higher up on the pole), I see Yoshi Tatsu, I see Zack Ryder. Hell maybe even Evan or Goldust when they come back, a lot of people could be going for it, but they're not. And it's fucking sickening.
