This lovely home
known as
Chapel House
was photographed by the amazing
Verne
I find the space absolutely enchanting.
An old church
in the Flemish village
of Bazel
was converted into
two lofts,
each with a very different decor.
This painting speaks to me!
The subject matter:
vintage jewelry
and children totally tingles my jingles,
and the table feels as
sacred as an altar.
What a magical environment
for this blonde sweetie
to learn and grow.
I appreciate how the owners
have kept the interior
understated.
It does not compete for attention
with the divinity of the architecture.
When you dare to live spare
like this with a family
it becomes an easier task
to feel peace.
And tranquility.
Wouldn't it be a blessing
to live in a former chapel?
The racy art is unexpectedly cheeky--
love that!
Such a pleasure to discover homes like this
on the net which help me more clearly
define the mood I hope
to create in my own house.
