**misplotted concrete homes**
which were computer-generated
rejects.
They're so otherworldly gorgeous
to my eye so I immediately began to
think about other 'mistakes'
which sometimes
mysteriously,
miraculously,
are recycled into lovely.
In the case of these
pre-fabricated dwellings,
they became castles
for the less fortunate elderly
who would
otherwise be homeless.
Mis-shapen,
mis-plotted,
and mis-understood.
Yet not
without hope
without beauty
without purpose.
