The last few days have only been a lead up to the avalanche of fatal heat drifting in this afternoon and tomorrow. Temperatures could easily exceed 102, and the humidity and air quality will be wretched. Needless to say everything is very dry, and even a carelessly disposed of cigarette butt out a car window can have tragic implications.
