The LA police said they were confident they had arrested one of the two suspects, a man named Giovanni Ramirez, a couple months ago. However, they obviously had some doubts as he was reportedly not charged with the assault, but was being held on an unrelated probation violation. Now the LA police are reporting they have found two new suspects they are confident are the suspects, now exclaiming ramirez is not guilty-they may actually charge the new couple this time. Naturally, Ramirez, held for the last couple months, and his family may be a little disappointed/relieved at the same time. We are sure some sort of expensive lawsuit will follow. The LA police seem to have gotten more black eyes over the years than Courtney Love.Evening update: two males in custody, and charged, with assault and mayhem. One female detained, but not yet charged. the original suspect exhonerated, but still may be jailed for other probation violations.
