We don't necessarily do this one every day anymore, but we are sitting around getting caught up on news/current events and, well, it is just a very depressing/frustrating time in our state/nation/world right now. We can not even get our heads wrapped around the idea that presidential elections aren't even held THIS November-we still have 16 months of this increasing venom, gridlock and posturing. In addition, an absolutely brutal heatwave is moving towards Maryland and it is just making everyone even more hostile. This is why we try to just be silly or bawdy sometimes. A laugh or a smile, or a nice photo, goes a long way during tough cultural times. During the next few days, please check on older relatives, those with respiratory/cardiac issues and make sure the pets have adequate water/shade/cooling.
