We spend quite a bit of time behind the wheel, and try our best every day to motor around with a kind smile and a wave. Today was not one of those days. We don't know if anyone else had a similar day, but we are convinced there are more accidents caused by slow, sober {but often distracted} drivers than those who have had a couple chillies, or motor around at higher speeds. Usually the one's drinking go out of their way to do things right just in case. The people who speed usually go by and into the vapors of history. But, man, what is it with {mostly} women drivers who go merely the speed limit in the passing lane, while doing anything but driving-and just will not move over. The left lane is for passing and eventually turning left-it is not there for people to stretch out to eat, text and do their taxes.This phenomenon creates nothing but stuck together wolf packs, who end up on each other's tailgates like it is Talladega. Aggressive driving inevitably ensues. We saw this phenomenon so many times today, and we didn't do it ourselves-but it was so bad out there that people were passing on the right shoulder just to break into the open road that was out there to be had. We believe we recently featured an article where Maryand rated 49th out of 50 states as far as dysfunctional driving. Man, here is your sign. This has the makings of a Tylenol P.M. night. BTW-we found the link about the worst driving states. DC was included, as well, and was THE worst. Maryland was 48, Hawaii 49 and New Jersey 47. Welcome to Hell!!
