According to Nathan and Caleb Followill, the current owner of the 'licence to kill', Daniel Craig, has repeatedly asked the Tennessee quartet to consider taking up the gauntlet but so far has had no luck.
However it now appears as if the band would seriously consider the project should Craig approach them again. In a Twitter chat with cinema chain Vue, Nathan explained: "Daniel Craig has asked me before. I have turned him down three times already but maybe."
Caleb Followill added: "I've always wanted to work with strings so that would be a good excuse to do it."

A source on Contactmusic was quoted: "The Bond bosses are all huge Gaga fans. Her sound and sense of drama make her the top choice. Gaga has the look as well as the voice to tackle a thundering ballad. She's a great songwriter too."
