If there has been a more dismal time in America, we were not alive for it-we think now is definitely worse than the Carter years. Naturally, the "Depression" was likely the worst-but what kind of horrible new era are we on the verge of. As "Baby Boomers" age and depend on the program many absolutely need to survive, it appears that the fiscal knife will be cutting into them soon, too. We actually have answers regarding how to improve the economy {no war quagmires, no outsourcing, stop illegals from coming across the border taking jobs/requiring our spending to jail them, etc., employ a 'flat tax' so the rich dudes pay their fair share, stop bailing out uber-billionaires and such,},but when you have politicians as we do now, the fiscal death spiral may continue. This is just sad, and we are afraid it is only the beginning. Is this how a once proud nation rolls over and dies?? Don't even get us started on the debt ceiling debate.DARK ECONOMY SHOUTS AGAIN-DON'T COUNT ON YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY.
