AITC RECOMMENDS "GET HIM TO THE GREEK" IF YOU NEED A LAUGH.

The movie is now playing on HBO, and, naturally on DVD forums. If you are a fan of what rock music looks like behind the scenes, this is a flick for you. We have traveled to the UK a few times, and have loved British humor since the old Monty Python days. The movie is a spin-off of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" which has the benefit of only having SM do one of many cameos-we thought she was the worst part of her own movie. Instead GHTTG focuses on the subsequent years of SM's old boyfriend, rocker Aldous Snow, as he degenerates into the world of heavy drug use after having relationship conflicts with his new girl.

The brief cameos are outstanding featuring everyone from Pink to Lars Ulrich to Christina Aquilera to Meredith Viera to Pharrell to the unlikely man who completely steals the show-Sean Combs. Essentially the plot involves a good-natured shnook who works for Combs as an assistant record producer sent to England to retrieve the incorrigible Aldous Snow {nobody except Russell Brand could have conquered this role so well} and bring him back across the pond to LA for a reunion concert at The Greek theater. Needless to say, hijinks ensue, but the movie is eventually all about redemption. And if you ever need to go to the hospital in Vegas, the street will always be named "Casino Way."
