If we can just add our own opinions: 1} We don't smoke, never did. 2} Are pretty tolerant of smokers outside 3} Smoke 'em while you got 'em in your own car. But don't throw the butt out because you don't want your own car dirty. It is also a forest fire hazard. 4}Just treat your cigarette butts like dog poo-pack it out, and leave the land as good, if not better, than you found it. It is especially more disgusting when piles of butts collect on beach lines and in drain water collection areas after rain/tides. That is why New York City is now among the more heavy-handed crew outlawing smoking outdoors in certain parks, beaches, Times Square common areas...pretty much anything within 6 miles above New York-remember no smoking on planes!!
