In a recent headline that we just had to eventually get to, a Virginia Beach businessman has been charged with multiple counts of sexual battery/assault offenses after several women reported to law enforcement that the man had gone overboard with disciplinary spankings. The man had offered shelter, food and education to {conveniently, only women} persons going through hard times, and needing a stable place to get their lives back in order.The ladies actually agreed to the form of corporal punishment that the restauranteur stated would be punishment for program infractions, however, at least 6 think the ass-tanning went too far. The women were given weekly cash, food, treated to lavish dinners in the Virginia Beach oceanfront area, and promised money for college. Now, the problem we have with this is not the obvious-these women voluntarily subjected themselves to this bizarre relationship. Call it a contract, perhaps? Bottom line is, if something sounds too good/bizarre to be true-it is. BTW-it is just getting almost impossible to write fiction/satire with the real headlines we see everyday!
