It has taken several years for us to make some sort of peace with this horrid disease, which is one of the few known health killers on the rise, rather than decline, in our aging culture. Our health, patience and spirituality have often been tested to close to a boiling/flash point. We have seen Mr. King pander to so many spoiled celebrities in the past to know this may be his finest hour, EVER. To stars such as Seth Rogan and his wife, Leeza Gibbons, Maria Shriver, Ron Reagan Jr and a contrite Terrell Owens we have never seen before, as well as many local bloggers and friends who have already walked the dark path we now walk-we thank you for your candor and support. For any who have followed us from the start, despite our bizarre sense of humor and sometimes defiant, smart-ass attitude, this blog is, and always be for those who may walk our footsteps in the future. It is also a way for us to keep our own cognitive functions sharp as we fear the genetics someday ourselves. Through our tears we are able to realize the difference between a mere hockey game, and a true gift from others. May your families be of good health, and untouched by this cruel killer.
