It looks unbelievably worse as pictures and video continue to come in from the southern half of Joplin, which was where this natural beast took to ground. It just looks like a small nuclear weapon was dropped there. It looks like a town just exploded...hospital x-rays found 60 miles away?? My, god, some of these people may have some PTSD issues even if they survived. We believe Joplin remains under tornado watch again later today. Expect the sirens again. See one of the links below-the sound is haunting.BTW-probably any regional plan you have is ultimately based around your hospitals. Imagine if the hospital implodes/explodes, too. The above photo shows one of the two hospitals [ST. Johns Hospital]-and look at the damage to the helicopter in the foreground {we believe that is also the almost completely obliterated emergency department just behind the helicopter-the other hospital was mostly unscathed}.
