This is a scary headline for the Maryland area. We believe it will effect 1,500 employees, and thus their families. We can't focus too much on how bad a sign losing this type of job is during an already bad economy. Northrup Grumman also is laying off approximately 500 Baltimore area workers due to federal belt tightening. Shit seems to be really rolling downhill at light speed now. In fact, we believe we saw another blog also indicate even McDonalds is cutting back by using self check-out procedures. Worst economy we've seen since the Carter years. But man, could that president beat the shit out of a swamp rabbit with an oar! Good times...good times.
