The 42 year-old victim was beaten into a coma by two men after the Dodger's Opening Day game in early March. His crime-wearing a San Francisco {Bay area nemesis, and last year's World Series champion} jersey may have been enough for these degenerates, who hit him from behind with a large slab of concrete as he walked through the parking lot after the game. The man, a married paramedic and father of two, nearly died, remained in a long-term coma, and is only minimally better now just being able to open his eyes...that's it.In addition to the terrible effects upon multiple families, some innocent-some guilty as hell, this also resulted in extreme crack-downs on drinking within the stadium, and completely eliminated tailgating/outside drinking. These incidents make it tougher for the rest of us to have a good time. Evidently the arrest was made after an incredibly diligent follow-up by LA police {17 detectives assigned to that case?}, and the arrest was partially based on neck/arm tattoos, and a bald head, described by witnesses {see sketch artist images at top}. LA police indicate that they expect other arrests to follow. Nobody should be almost murdered at a baseball game, especially Opening Day. That just isn't American!
