The guy who lost his freedom after he 'Madoff'' with the trusted money of so many investors using the biggest pyramid scam in history, is now watching his liquid {literally} assets being sold off. A New York auction house now has possession via US marshals, of Madoff's extensive, and expensive, liquor/wine cache. The auction will be held in Miami on June 4th, with all proceeds going into a fund for Madoff's many, may victims. In all, 262 bottles will go up for auction, split into various 'lots' for bidding. The ultimate prize in the stash, or at least it would be for us, is a 'lot' featuring a 12 bottle case of vintage 1996 Chateau Mouton-Rothschild. We love to enjoy a bottle or two when we eat Buffalo Wings {that sound you just heard was from all the extreme 'vinum diligo' hitting the floor after their strokes}. Bidding for that 'lot' alone is expected to START at around $3,800. We expect stiff, competitive bidding from our old nemesis, Ned the Wino {pictured above with some 'Good Times' grape}.
