ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS TO OPEN CRUCIAL LOUISIANA SPILLWAY IN MOMENTS.

Scheduled for 4:00 p.m. ET//3 LA time, the horrible scales have tipped towards opening a levee spillway, thus flooding swamps and some established farmland homes, to save the 'greater good' of two much more populated towns in Louisiana {Baton Rouge/New Orleans}. The watershed from, we believe, at least a third of the continental US has gradually made it's way south like a hungry beast. Today the blunt of the trauma hits the already twice devastated Louisiana waterways and wetlands, and possibly, some front porches. Mother Nature, for whatever reason, does not seem pleased with this middle/southern region of our nation. The Morganza spillway was opened immediately on schedule....it will take 2-4 days for rivers to stabilize...people had time to move; but will they ever be able to safely/correctly rebuild in the flood plainS}?? Still and unstable and heart-breaking situation, either way, for a region so battered by flooding, with extra oil, already. And speaking of oil; expect prices not to drop as much as they could as we believe a lot of oil is refined in Louisiana..geez' this is just awful on so many leveles.
