Uju Murphy
Following huge allegations of adultery leveled against her recently by her estranged husband, Popular Lagos big girl, Uju Murphy Uzohue has opened up on the real reasons her marriage to her Japan based husband crashed, insisting that she was not sleeping with the managing director of FCMB, Mr. Ladi Balogun as alleged by her husband.Uju said she does not even know Ladi Balogun personally . “I don’t have anything to do with him. I don’t even know the man personally”
Uju who also alleged that her husband was fetish, disclosed that one of the major reasons that caused their misunderstanding was that the relationship was a long distance one. The husband is based in Japan while she is based in Lagos.The whole marriage however packed up in October 2009. According to Uju, she refused her husband’s ploy to use their unborn son (at that time) for money ritual. In her own claim according to an interview she granted City People, Uju said she got to know that her husband was seeing a sex worker known as Martina Emmanuel Kabiri in Japan.Aside that, she also got to know that the man she called her husband was also involved in an incestuous relationship with his niece, Ijeoma Jennifer Odoemenam.
On the issue of loan they borrowed from FCMB, Uju said it was with her husband’s knowledge that the money was borrowed. They both signed the papers and the money was raised to finance their property and personal businesses. Uju said she told her husband that they should sell one of the property worth N150 million at a time to be able to offset the loan but the man disagreed. She said that the recent outburst by her estranged husband was all a ploy to escape his financial responsibility to FCMB and also to tanish her image. At the moment, Uju is also working with her lawyers to fire a case against Murphy Uzohue for what she described as character assassination
